Alexandra Leichter received her B.A. degree in Mathematics from UCLA in 1969 and her J.D. degree in 1972 from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. She was named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” for over ten years and was adjudged one of the “Top 50 Female Southern California Super Lawyers.” She has also been distinguished as one of the “Best Lawyers in America®.” and is a Martindale Hubbell “AV Preeminent®” rated attorney.
As a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, and as a Certified Family Law Arbitrator, certified by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), Alexandra has outstanding family law credentials. One of the select members of the dual-mediation family law panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Alexandra has mediated and resolved some of the most complex and litigious cases on the court’s docket. She is also a frequently sought-after lecturer and author of articles on numerous subjects, including family law practice and procedure, preparing for a child custody litigation, the differences between various private adjudication methods, the validity of pre-marital agreements, use and misuse of psychology in family law cases, parenting plan coordination, foreign marriage and divorces in California, and religious issues affecting family law and custody.
Ariel Leichter-Maroko received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and a J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, LLP in Palo Alto, where he practiced intellectual property, antitrust, and complex corporate litigation until he opened his own practice in Beverly Hills in 2008 concentrating on family law practice. Ariel is a Certified Family Law Specialist certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. His practice concentrates on complex family law litigation, writs, and appeals. Mr. Leichter-Maroko’s prior experience in finance and investment banking, his understanding of complex financial structures, and his intimate knowledge of computer systems has also been invaluable in his ability to analyze, research, and present highly complex property and support issues. Ariel also lectures on family law procedures and acts as a consultant to other attorneys in difficult family law cases involving complex finances.
Jenna C. Spatz graduated summa cum laude from USC, where she received a B.A. degree in Political Science and Broadcast Communication, and she earned a J.D. degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where she was Chief Production Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. She served as an extern to Judge Mark Borenstein in the Family Law department of the Los Angeles Superior Court for two years, and has extensive research and writing experience in numerous areas of family law, child custody, and entertainment law. She completed the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association’s Interdisciplinary Training Program and has an extraordinary ability to understand clients’ issues in family law matters. Jenna’s attention to detail, keen problem-solving prowess, and ability to empathize with clients renders her an invaluable asset to the clients and the firm.
